Management’s Safety Management Policy Statement
[RPM]’s Management is committed to a policy of maximum protection of our employees against incidents / accidents, thus a Safety Management System directed towards the SAFETY and protection of our personnel. In fulfillment of this policy we are committed to;
a) Operate and maintain Work Areas safely and securely to ensure maximum Safety and Health by managing Risks as determined.
b) Reduce and where possible, eliminate occupational diseases and injuries to employees by continual improvement of the System.
c) Comply with legislation applicable and where appropriate, institute additional measures to ensure health and safety measures in the workplace.
d) Provide the Framework for setting and reviewing OH&S objectives.
e) Document, implement and maintain the OHSAS 18001 System.
f) Communicate this Policy Statement to personnel employed.
g) Make this Policy Statement, on request, available to interested parties.
h) Review the System periodically to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate.
i) Communicate this policy to personnel as relevant.
Management’s Environment Management Policy Statement
[RPM]’s Management is committed to a policy of maximum Environmental protection. In fulfillment of this policy we ensure that;
a) The Environmental Management System (EMS) is developed, documented, implemented and maintained.
b) Impacts, resulting form our Activities, Product & Service, e.g. Rewinding of Electrical Motors, Generators, Transformers, etc., are reviewed and investigated to establish Objectives and Targets to ensure Environment protection.
c) Objectives and Targets are achieved as reflected by the Environmental Management System Program.
d) Result of Impact management complies with legislation and regulations as applicable to the company’s Activities, Products & Services.
e) The EMS is regularly reviewed for continual suitability and improvement.
f) Continual improvement i.e. minimization of Impacts is achieved by the management thereof.
g) All personnel are conscious about our Environmental Management System and the application and maintenance thereof.
h) This Policy Statement is, on request, available to the public.
i) This Policy Statement is communicated to all personnel employed.
Management’s Quality Policy Statement
- [RPM]’s Management is committed to a policy of total quality assurance.
- In fulfillment of this policy Management ensures that goods and services are supplied to meet their intended purposes, stated performance criteria and in accordance with the requirements of the customer.
- Management will not accept a contract where customer satisfaction is not possible for reasons of our capacity limit, or because it is beyond our normal expertise or for any other reason such as inadequate specifications, unrealistic technical requirements of unrealistic delivery requirements.
- The Quality Policy is thus directed towards achieving the following objectives:
a) To provide a prospective customer with and assurance, that is to say a high level of confidence, that goods and services supplied to an order, will comply with and agreed specification.
b) To ensure that a contract is carried out within the agreed time scale/
c) To minimize the risk of failure or faulty performance of any product or component, under specified conditions for a predetermined period of operation.
d) To Contribute to the profit objectives of the Corporation by optimizing the costs of quality assurance against:
i. the cost of potential losses, defects and wastage,
ii. the implicit value of perceived goodwill and credibility.
e) To improve communication between all departments and functions.
f) To improve managerial and technical skills and to install the need for self-discipline and attention to detail in all personnel in conducting the activities of the Corporation.
g) To increase quality assurance consciousness and application in all personnel.
h) To review the Quality Management System for continual suitability and improvement.
i) To establish and review Quality Objectives.
j) To communicate this policy to all personnel concerned.
